GIVEN that DOD recognizes hazards of CO indoors, requiring CO alarms in all Navy, Air Force and Army base housing worldwide ...
WHY has DOD-funded research into the possible causes of Gulf War Syndrome never studied the health effects of exposure to CO from unventilated tent heaters, engine exhaust (which troops commonly stood in to get warm), or from firing and exploding munitions (known since World War I to produce up to 500,000ppm of CO)
--especially given that the top 10 “undiagnosed symptoms” of Gulf War Syndrome are all common symptoms of chronic CO poisoning?
